About This Course

What is the most important tasks in having a great career is building a trustworthy network of people who will help you get into the schools where you want to study, and organizations where you want to work.

This course will give you five tools to help you build a great network for your career.

First, imagine that you are filling a bus with the people who will help you get to where you want to go in life. You have to work work proactively to get the wrong people off the bus, get the right people on the bus, and get the right people into the right seats. In other words, you will have to stop hanging out with friends who reduce your chances of career success, and make new friends who are motivated to study hard and work smart in order to achieve their career ambitions.

Second Stakeholder Analysis helps you identify all the stakeholders in your career.  

 

Third, the Trust Spider allows you to identify the top five qualities someone needs to demonstrate to earn your trust. It also enables you to ask others what qualities you need to practice in order to earn their trust. Fourth,  1 to 1 Diagnosis helps you to analyze why your stakeholders are not doing what you want them to do. Fifth, Start-Stop-Keep is a tool you can use with your stakeholders to give each other feedback about your performance.
