GELI winter In SHANGHAI
6-DAY GLOBAL TALENT ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROGRAM
Feb 17 2019 - Feb 22 2019
Experience Silicon Valley entrepreneurship and plan your future life and career through GELI Winter Program in Shanghai!
Envision Your Future Life and Career
Each GELI student writes a Personal Business Plan and career strategy paper under the guidance of a professional team of Stanford and Harvard Alumni who are in key leadership roles in companies large and small - venture capital firms and investment banks, big 4 accounting firms, strategy consulting firms, medical, legal, and accounting professions, and government organizations.
Students will develop a personal “go-to-market strategy” that lays out a path for them to reach their academic, career, and life goals.
Based on the student’s career/ life interest, GELI will match each student with an industry thought leader as a mentor, and have the mentor review the Personal Business Plan and offer detailed feedback. Such reviews and comments will significantly boost the student’s college application or career advancement.
People Who Have Written the Personal Business Plan
These alumni have all written a Personal Business Plan when they were high school students, undergraduates, or graduate students.
Gear Up with the Startup Toolkit
GELI prepares students to be the next-generation CEOs and entrepreneurs. Students go through a thoughtfully designed curriculum with an entrepreneurship focus. They learn to leverage each of the 9 gears from Gear Up: Test Your Business Model Potential and Plan Your Path to Success and get lectured by the author of the book Dr.Tom Kosnik. They learn the “user-centric design” of the innovation. They practice the rules of thumb of evaluating and entering new markets. Most importantly, at the end of the program GELI students showcase their new-born ventures by pitching to a panel of serial entrepreneurs from Silicon Valley, Stanford and Harvard Business School lecturers, successful alumni from their schools, and venture investors from Silicon Valley and China.
